IT Auditor / Compliance Specialist

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented IT Auditor / Information Security & Health and Safety Compliance Specialist with strong experience in information security and compliance frameworks, including ISO/IEC 27001, ISO 45001, and SOC 2 . The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, auditing, and continuously improving our compliance posture, ensuring alignment with regulatory, contractual, industry, and occupational health and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, conduct, and document internal audits for ISO/IEC 27001, ISO 45001, and SOC 2
• Maintain and continuously improve the Information Security Management System (ISMS) and support the Occupational Health & Safety Management System (OHSMS)
• Prepare the organization for external audits and certifications related to information security and health & safety
• Identify compliance gaps, assess risks (information security and OH&S), and track remediation actions
• Develop, review, and maintain policies, procedures, and controls for security and workplace health & safety
• Coordinate with technical, HR, legal, facilities, and business stakeholders on compliance matters
• Support risk assessments, vendor reviews, and control testing
• Monitor changes in standards and regulations and assess organizational impact
• Provide compliance status and audit reporting to management and relevant stakeholders

Skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Compliance Specialist, Internal Auditor, or similar role
• Hands-on experience with ISO/IEC 27001 (mandatory)
• Familiarity with ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety) and SOC 2 (Type I and/or Type II)
• Strong understanding of information security controls, OH&S risk management , and audit methodologies
• Experience preparing audit evidence and interacting with external auditors
• Excellent documentation, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple compliance initiatives
