We are looking for a Lead Solutions Architect who will serve as the technical anchor for our GTM presence in the SEA & Greater China region combining hands-on engineering, customer engagement, solution design, and ecosystem development.
This customer-facing role is about shaping how Affinidi’s trust infrastructure comes to life in Southeast Asia, with Singapore as the base and flexibility to travel. You will help customers adapt to a new software design paradigm where trust is built into interactions, not assumed within systems. This involves designing systems with verifiable and portable identity, permissions, and data, and built-in governance, rather than adding it later.
You won’t inherit a playbook. You will help create it alongside a high-energy, cross-functional team. You will support early experimentation, guide technical validation, and lead solution implementation.
You will work across a wide spectrum from early-stage startups to large enterprises with complex systems and stakeholders. The goal is to compress the distance between “this is interesting concept” and “we know how this works for the customer” turning early signals into working solutions fast and feeding those insights into GTM strategy and product direction.

At least 4 years of total experience with 2+ years in technical customer-facing roles (Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, Technical Consultant, or Software Engineer)
Thrive working with customers like shaping requirements, framing architectures, and building prototypes that help move decisions forward.
Strong engineering foundation in distributed systems, APIs, microservices, and cloud architectures
Builder mindset , engineer at heart - comfortable writing code, integrating systems, and prototyping
Experience working across startup and enterprise environments
Speed with strong engineering judgement knowing what to prototype and what needs to scale
Familiarity with identity protocols (OAuth2, OIDC, SAML), cryptography, or decentralised identity models
Strong communication with ability to translate complex concepts across technical and business audiences
Hands-on experience with AI systems and modern development tooling
Ability to identify patterns and translate them into reusable solutions and product inputs
Comfortable operating in ambiguity and shaping early-stage markets
Player-coach mindset equally comfortable with stepping in to build when needed, guiding others when it matters
Strong prioritisation focusing on what drives real outcomes
Experience of guiding customers from discovery through to production adoption and act as a trusted technical advisor throughout.
Experience of operating across levels from deep technical discussions with engineers to value-driven conversations with senior stakeholders.
Holding constructive ground in challenging discussions
Knowing when speed matters more than perfection, acting & influencing accordingly
Mandarin language skills are required, given the regional scope of the role
Be the technical anchor for Affinidi’s expanding influence in Southeast Asia
Help define how trust, identity, and AI interact in a new generation of systems
Work alongside global experts across digital identity, cryptography, and decentralised technologies
Influence both product direction and the broader evolution of the trust ecosystem
