Your Mission

As backend engineer, you’ll commit your technical talents to our industry-leading SaaS team. This role invites you to help shape our engineering culture and, of course, our platform. It also comes with ownership: we expect you to take responsibility and grow!

Your Responsibilities

Focus mainly on the design and development of our RESTful backend services
Support the quality management of our codebase and introduce new features and technologies
Help innovate a SaaS application and own the entire process chain: from software design to deployment in the cloud
Collaborate closely with other departments, forming cross-functional teams to shape new features in their early stage

Your Profile

A degree in computer science, completed training as an IT specialist, or comparable knowledge from practical experience
At least 3 to 5 years experience in backend and web development

Experience with RESTful APIs

• Good knowledge of Java, Hibernate, Spring (Boot) and SQL
• Knowledge of when and what to test (Unit Tests, E2E Tests)
• A passion to learn and experiment with new technologies
• A “you build it, you run it” mentality
• The ability to work autonomously and result oriented
• Strong written and spoken English

Bonus points if you

Have experience in database design

Worked with AWS

• Have infrastructure-as-code experience
• Like to automate routine processes
