Job Role: Head of Growth & Strategy
Compensation range: $2,000 AUD - $3,000 AUD / Monthly
Engagement type: Independent Contractor Agreement
Work Schedule: This role is expected to align with the AU business hours (approx. 9 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday) for collaboration, but as a contractor, you’ll have flexibility in how you manage your time.

Who The Client Is: An established IT Managed Services Provider (MSP) undergoing a transformation into a modern, cloud-first, security-led business.
Role Overview: The Head of Growth & Strategy is a foundational leadership role responsible for designing and building the systems, structure, and strategy required to scale a modern IT Managed Services Provider. This is not a traditional marketing or sales role, but a hands-on “build” role focused on productising services, defining go-to-market strategy, and establishing the commercial and operational framework for growth. Working closely with the business owner and internal team, you will lead direction, collaborate on execution, and take ownership of outcomes that enable sustainable, scalable growth.
2-3 years of proven experience building or scaling a B2B services business, ideally within an MSP or technology services environment.
Strong understanding of recurring revenue models and subscription-based pricing structures.
Experience in designing go-to-market strategies, service offerings, and commercial frameworks.
Demonstrated ability to build and implement sales processes and growth systems from the ground up.
Strategic thinker with the ability to execute practically and drive outcomes.
Experience working with CRM platforms (e.g. HubSpot or similar) and building pipeline visibility.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams.
High level of ownership, accountability, and initiative in a growth-focused environment.
Ability to operate in a build phase with ambiguity and evolving priorities.
This is a remote role that will be set up as an independent contractor engagement.
