Implement and monitor the site’s Safety, Health and Environmental (SHE) policies in compliance with statutory requirements and company standards.
Conduct daily site inspections and training to ensure safe work practices.
Identify and mitigate potential hazards, unsafe conditions, and unsafe acts at the workplace.
Liaise with the Safety Officer, O&M Manager, Engineers, Technicians, and subcontractors on safety-related issues.
Review and ensure safety compliance of work documents (MOS, HIRARC, O&M Manual, HSE Plan, etc.) before work execution.
Prepare and maintain safety documentation including reports, checklists, and records of incidents or near misses.
Participate in emergency response and assist in incident and near-miss investigation and reporting.
Ensure workers and visitors comply with site safety rules and use proper PPE.
Promote a strong safety culture and continuous improvement at the project site.
Possess a valid Yellow Book (Site Safety Supervisor) certificate registered with DOSH (Department of Occupational Safety and Health Malaysia).
Minimum 1 years of relevant experience in construction or renewable energy projects (solar project experience is an added advantage).
Good knowledge of Malaysian safety regulations and standards.
Strong communication, leadership, and observation skills.
Able to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced project environment.
