TThis is not a traditional support role — you are the engine room. You will take full ownership of loan files from lodgement through to settlement, managing a high-volume pipeline across residential, commercial, and car loans while supporting more than 150 local families each year. This is a 2IC position offering direct mentorship from a senior broker, a results-driven remote work culture, and a clear pathway toward becoming a broker yourself.
Manage loan files end-to-end with minimal supervision, from application through to settlement.
Prepare compliant loan applications and drive deals through to settlement.
Conduct high-level bank statement analysis — accurately identifying income, expenses, dishonours, gambling patterns, and true living costs.
Perform credit checks, extract income data, and prepare detailed loan proposals.
Prepare and maintain key documentation including Game Plan documents and AOLs.
Accurately name, verify, and organise supporting documents in line with compliance requirements.
Update and maintain CRM records, including correct uploading, renaming, and version control of documents.
Liaise confidently with clients, lenders, and third parties throughout the loan process.
Coordinate post-settlement activities, including conducting annual reviews and liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
Issue and manage "Hello Book" documentation to support client onboarding.
Stay current with lender policies, credit guidelines, and industry trends.
Identify and implement process improvements to drive operational efficiency.
5+ years of experience in mortgage broking or loan processing — Australian market experience strongly preferred (non-negotiable).
Proven track record of managing end-to-end loan lodgements independently with minimal supervision (non-negotiable).
Proficiency in using ApplyOnline or similar broker loan platforms.
Strong MyCRM experience — actively used within the last 12 months, with at least 2 years hands-on (non-negotiable).
Advanced bank statement analysis skills — ability to interpret complex financial behaviour, not just follow a checklist.
Demonstrated ability to manage a high-volume pipeline without compromising quality.
Strong working knowledge of loan packaging, servicing, pricing, and credit checks.
Experience across multiple lending products including home, commercial, equipment, and car loans.
Clear and confident communicator with strong problem-solving ability.
Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and document preparation.
Comfortable working independently within a small, accountable team.
Demonstrates initiative, accountability, and a proactive approach to resolving issues.
PREFERRED SKILLS (nice to have)
Experience conducting credit analysis to evaluate risk and strengthen loan recommendations.
Tech-savvy with loan CRMs, calculators, and digital document management systems.
Exposure to a broad range of Australian lending products across residential, commercial, and asset finance.
