OutsourcedIn is partnering with a NSW-based business specialising in custom kitchens, cabinetry & joinery, CNC machining services, cut-to-size panels, and DIY building materials to hire an experienced SEO Content Writer.

This role is focused on driving organic traffic, improving Google rankings, and increasing qualified enquiries through structured SEO strategy and high-converting website content.

The ideal candidate has strong experience writing SEO content for Australian businesses and understands Australian search behaviour, local SEO strategy, and construction/trade industry language.

Mandatory Requirement

Minimum 2–3 years experience writing SEO content for Australian businesses (ESSENTIAL)

About the Role

You will be responsible for developing and executing SEO strategies that increase visibility across NSW and drive high-intent enquiries within the construction and joinery sector.

This is a performance-driven role focused on organic growth and conversion optimisation.

Key Responsibilities

• SEO Strategy & Keyword Research
• Conduct keyword research targeting Australian search terms
• Develop structured SEO roadmap for service-based growth
• Identify competitor ranking gaps within the NSW market
• Target location-based keywords (e.g., custom kitchens NSW, CNC cutting near me)

Website Optimisation

Rewrite and optimise service pages for conversions
Improve on-page SEO (headings, metadata, internal linking)
Develop high-converting landing pages
Optimise product and service descriptions
Ensure content aligns with Australian terminology and standards
Blog & Authority Content
Write SEO-optimised blog articles targeting builders, cabinet makers, renovators, and DIY customers
Create educational and technical content
Build topical authority within the building and joinery industry
Local SEO & Digital Marketing Support
Optimise Google Business Profile content
Write Google Ads landing page copy
Assist with email marketing content
Support alignment of website and social content
Improve conversion pathways across the website
Required Skills & Experience
2–3+ years Australian SEO content writing experience (ESSENTIAL)
Proven ability to rank service-based businesses
Strong understanding of Australian consumer search intent
Experience using SEO tools (SEMrush, Ahrefs, Ubersuggest, etc.)
Strong WordPress experience
Ability to write persuasive, conversion-focused copy

Highly Regarded

• Experience within construction, joinery, cabinetry, or building materials
• Knowledge of CNC machining terminology
