Work Schedule: This role is expected to align with the AU business hours (approx. 9 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday) for collaboration, but as a contractor, you’ll have flexibility in how you manage your time.

Who The Client Is: They are a specialist litigation firm dedicated to complex commercial and tax disputes, combining deep legal expertise with disciplined project management. By focusing solely on high-stakes matters, they provide sharper strategies, clearer processes, and more predictable outcomes for their clients.

Role Overview: As the Executive Assistant you will act as the Managing Director’s right hand and organisational “front lobe”, owning his time, priorities and workflow so he can operate at maximum effectiveness. This role requires anticipation, judgment and absolute discretion. You will not wait for direction, you will stay ahead of it.

Key Responsibilities

Diary & priorities: Ruthlessly manage time, prepare daily briefings, ensure nothing is dropped
Gatekeeping: Control access, triage communications, represent the Managing Director with polish and confidence
Travel & hospitality: Seamlessly coordinate end-to-end travel and secure high-quality restaurant bookings
Business development & marketing: Liaise with Marketing, track BD activity, ensure preparation for client and referrer interactions
Execution & organisation: Create structure, remove friction, and maintain momentum across all commitments
Personal support: Provide discreet, efficient support where required
Confidentiality: Handle all matters with absolute discretion

Requirements

• Proven experience supporting a senior executive (legal/professional services preferred)
• Exceptional written and spoken English
• Polished phone and Microsoft Teams presence
• Outstanding judgment, prioritisation and follow-through
• Highly proactive, organised and calm under pressure
• Confident gatekeeper, able to prioritise, push back and protect time
