Your role is to support the partners and managers with year-end engagements. We reserve the right to make reasonable adjustments to your duties from time to time as deemed necessary to more effectively carry on client operations.
Comply with all applicable laws, CPA profession regulations, and firm policies, upholding the highest standards of ethics and integrity.
Prepare client engagements, including compilations and Canadian tax filings, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with CPA standards and regulations.
Prepare Personal and Trust returns as needed.
Draft responses to CRA compliance reviews.
Demonstrate an understanding of the client’s businesses, industry, marketplace, and business trends (“know your client”).
Effectively communicate with partners and staff to ensure all deadlines are met.
Promote a positive, collaborative, and respectful working relationship with associates and team members to support a healthy firm culture.
Perform strictly backend preparation work with no direct client interaction.
Positive and professional attitude with the ability to deliver high-quality work.
Excellent project management skills.
Innovative thinker who is comfortable in a team- and client-focused environment.
Self-starter who can work independently.
Strong interpersonal, technical, and communication skills.
Strong corporate and personal tax knowledge.
