Quantitative Developer (OMS C++)

Responsibilities:
Design and build a bespoke OMS that is highly performant and reliable, supporting a wide range of asset classes
Enhance and simplify the existing trading platform, with a focus on improving overall performance
Perform comprehensive testing, including unit, integration, and end-to-end system testing, to ensure reliability, scalability, and optimal system capacity
Monitor system performance, proactively identify issues, and implement effective solutions and improvements
Required Technical Qualification, Skills, and Experience:
A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or a related technical field is required
Minimum 5 years of experience in trading technology, including OMS development
Proficiency in C++
Hands-on experience with TCP, UDP, and shared memory communications
Practical knowledge of kernel bypassing techniques, CPU cache optimization, and lock-free data structures for ultra-low latency system design
Skilled in performance tuning for latency-sensitive applications on Linux, including system-level optimizations
Proficiency in using profiling and performance analysis tools to identify bottlenecks and optimize system throughput and latency
Experience working with FIX protocol and FIX engines
Familiarity with Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, and Python is a plus
Product knowledge in equities, derivatives, fixed income, and other asset classes
Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and excellent written and verbal communication skills
Self-motivated, disciplined, and able to operate independently as well as part of a team
