Summary

The Strength and Conditioning Specialist is responsible for creating and implementing programs for the young athlete. The programs will focus on improving performance, reducing injuries and returning to sports. The Strength and Conditioning Specialist creates training plans for individuals, small groups or team training, sport/injury specific programs and home school P.E. programs. This role will oversee the training sessions, evaluate athletes and provide recommendations within their scope of practice. The Strength and Conditioning Specialist will work closely with the Sports Medicine Physicians, Athletic Trainers, and Physical Therapists to ensure the athlete’s needs are met. This role is responsible for the growth and sustained success of the field programs at Walsh Ranch.

Qualifications

Required BA or BS from a program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE)
Texas athletic training license or licensed in another state and eligible for TX licensure
Current BLS certification
