Work Schedule: This role is expected to align with the AU business hours (approx. 9 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday) for collaboration, but as a contractor, you’ll have flexibility in how you manage your time.

Who The Client Is: They are an established, family-run manufacturer with long experience in producing specialised materials used in water and air treatment. Using locally sourced inputs, the business develops refined filtration and purification products that support a range of environmental and industrial applications. Their work helps public and private sector partners maintain clean water and air, backed by a long-standing focus on quality, reliability, and sustainable practices.
Role Overview: The Sales and Marketing Assistant supports the Sales and Marketing efforts of the client, assisting across SDR and marketing functions to help drive lead generation, campaign execution, and day-to-day sales and marketing activities.
Wordpress – SEO content and optimisation of website (15 hours a week)
Coordination of events throughout the year; 6+ conferences, events, truck (lead) for those delegations.
Marketing collateral – Brochures, presentation slides, giveaways, handouts, flyers, proficiency in Canva.
Use of salesforce – creating and updating campaigns, vetting and verifying of information. Proficiency in Mailchimp and social media platforms.
Prospect lists, scraping data on contacts from websites, adding to database.
Business cards excel uploads – from conferences
Creating mailing lists and maintaining mailing list efforts
Linkedin posts – on different events
Trailer for absolutely everything marketing related.
Complete import and export documentation and filing in SP and on SF.
Potentially a trailer for sales efforts as well.
General administrative tasks
Special marketing projects
Creative and positive mindset with a proactive approach to work
Strong hands-on experience with WordPress website backends (core competency)
High level of developer expertise; able to manage, update, and troubleshoot websites independently
Proven experience and competency using Canva for marketing and design assets
Experience with Mailchimp for email campaigns and audience management
Familiarity with ZoomInfo for lead generation or data research
Experience working in the events industry or with an events company is highly regarded, with an understanding of event logistics and timelines
Experience with Salesforce and Xero is an advantage
This is a remote role that will be set up as an independent contractor engagement.
