Job Description

Primary responsibility 60-80%: Provide HPLC/UPLC troubleshooting support for several instruments, while dedicate the remaining 20-40% to supporting the formulations group.

Execute and troubleshoot small molecule analytical methods including UPLC/HPLC

Conduct literature research to optimize small molecule formulations.

Perform data analysis and troubleshoot methods and instrumentation

Prepare data for presentations and assist in generating technical reports

Collaborate effectively with internal and external groups

Initiate and perform investigations, as needed

Write protocols and technical reports

Qualifications

The Ideal Candidate would possess

Excellent experience operating HPLC/UPLC and analyzing data for analytical methods.

Understanding of experimentation and data analysis using Empower software (Version III)

Excellent written and verbal communication skills and experience interacting with people from a wide range of skill levels and experience

Ability to communicate complex scientific findings and recommendations in one-on-one discussions and departmental meetings

Excellent technical writing experience such as protocols, reports, and SOPs

Demonstrated ability to work as an independent, self-motivated, detail-oriented, result-driven and highly flexible team-player in a fast-paced working environment

Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies.

Basic Minimum Qualifications

• At least a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related scientific discipline
• Authorization to work in the country indefinitely without sponsorship

Additional Information

Position is full-time, Mon-Fri 8am-4pm. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Foster City, CA are encouraged to apply.

Compensation: $60,000-70,000/year
