Senior Software Developer – Pagero
Do you want to work on systems that process millions of document transactions every day? We’re looking for a Senior Software Developer to join one of our development teams at Pagero in Gothenburg.
You’ll be working on the central services of PageroOnline. The stack is Spring Boot, Java and Scala microservices, RabbitMQ for messaging, PostgreSQL and Cassandra for storage, all running on Docker and Kubernetes. If that excites you, read on.

5+ years of software development experience
Strong backend proficiency, ideally with Java and Spring Boot
Fluent English for collaborating across our international teams
Successfully pass an extended background check (criminal and credit)
Nice to Have: Scala or JVM experience · Distributed systems · Functional programming · Container deployments
Work Policy & Requirements
We believe in the value of in-person collaboration and have a three-day office presence policy at our Gothenburg office, with the remaining days flexible for remote work. Swedish or EU citizenship is required, and all candidates must pass an extended background check.
