The Country Commercial Head is responsible for driving Teleport’s overall business growth and ensuring operational excellence in the country. This includes full ownership of the e-commerce, cargo, Pink, and other emerging business lines, as well as the overall management of Teleport’s presence and revenue performance in the market.
Develop and execute a localized commercial strategy that advances Teleport’s goals across product lines and customer segments, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic direction and business objectives.
Own and grow Teleport’s e-commerce and B2B commercial presence in the country. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders—including marketplaces, D2C brands, e-commerce enablers, 3PLs, and other service providers operating in domestic and international logistics. Drive business expansion through direct engagement and partnership development.
Manage and strengthen relationships with freight forwarders and cargo agents operating out of Thailand. Leverage your industry expertise to build a robust sales pipeline and position Teleport as a trusted logistics partner. Cargo remains a core pillar of Teleport’s business and a consistent revenue contributor.
Collaborate closely with local marketing teams to support commercial objectives, ensuring clear alignment between commercial priorities and marketing execution. Work with regional marketing teams to maintain consistency with Teleport’s brand, communications, and PR guidelines and overarching strategy.
Provide local oversight of operations to ensure strong execution and adherence to group-wide standards. Partner with regional operations teams to maintain operational excellence, ensure high-quality hiring, uphold employment standards, and manage local infrastructure according to best practices. Share insights on local opportunities that can shape Teleport’s operational strategy.
Serve as the overall revenue owner for the country. Drive revenue growth in alignment with corporate and local cost structures. Structure and organize the local commercial teams based on strategic needs to achieve business success.
Strong leadership, strategic planning, and team management skills
At least 10 years of experience in developing and executing business growth strategies and identifying new market opportunities
Must have prior experience in cargo, air freight, or airline-related businesses, with strong familiarity in industry dynamics, key stakeholders, and commercial operations.
Proficiency in sales, client relationship management, and negotiation
Ability to analyze market trends, data-driven decision-making, and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of the logistics or transportation industry is a strong advantage
Proven experience in a senior commercial role, preferably in an international or fast-paced setting
Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field preferred
