Our Outside School Hours Care service, Algester State School Helping Hands, is looking for a passionate Casual Educator to assist the service and provide engaging programs for our primary-age children.
You'll work split shifts to support the service’s operating hours of Monday – Friday, 6:00am – 8:45am (Rise then Shine Program) and 3:00pm – 6:00pm (Stay and Play Program). You can pick up extra hours during the school holidays too!
Working in a team of Educators, you will have support of a Coordinator to seamlessly run before and after school care for children aged 5-12 years:
Facilitate an engaging child-centered program full of exciting experiences such as STEM, sport, cooking, art and craft - whatever you and the children are into!
Foster healthy relationships with children, the school, community, and parents
Work with a team of skilled Educators onsite

Who are we looking for?
Enjoy working with kids
Strong and clear communication
Team player with a desire to become a service leader
Hold or willing to obtain a national police check (we'll pay for it!) and a state check for working with children
Australian work rights
National Child Safety Training completion prior to onboarding (via Gecko)
A relevant qualification to work with children in OSHC as per ACECQA is a bonus
