Data Engineer II, ISF Central Tech Team

The International Stores Finance Central Engineering team is seeking a Data Engineer to build scalable data solutions that support a fast-growing and evolving business. This role focuses on designing and implementing data standardization frameworks and AI-enabled solutions that improve how data is delivered and used for day-to-day decision-making.

As a Data Engineer, you will own the design, development, and management of large-scale datasets and data pipelines. You will work closely with business stakeholders, engineers, and partner teams to define data models and build efficient data warehouse solutions for reporting and analytics. You will develop and maintain scalable ETL pipelines on AWS, integrate data from multiple sources, and automate manual processes. Strong SQL skills and a focus on performance optimization are essential to ensure reliable and high-quality data delivery.

Basic Qualifications

• 3+ years of data engineering experience
• 4+ years of SQL experience
• Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
• 2+ years of developing and operating large-scale data structures for business intelligence analytics using OLAP technologies experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AWS technologies like Redshift, S3, AWS Glue, EMR, Kinesis, FireHose, Lambda, and IAM roles and permissions
• Experience with non-relational databases / data stores (object storage, document or key-value stores, graph databases, column-family databases)
• Knowledge of batch and streaming data architectures like Kafka, Kinesis, Flink, Storm, Beam
• Knowledge of distributed systems as it pertains to data storage and computing
