The Projects Director will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of high-value real estate projects, ensuring alignment with company goals. This role requires strategic oversight of budgets, timelines, teams, and stakeholder relationships to achieve operational excellence and client satisfaction
Develop comprehensive project plans, budgets, and schedules for residential/commercial developments.
Monitor progress, mitigate risks, and resolve issues to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
Ensure compliance with local regulations (zoning, permits, building codes) and sustainability standards (LEED, BREEAM).
Lead cross-functional teams (engineers, architects, contractors) and mentor project managers.
Collaborate with Finance, Legal, and Marketing departments to align project objectives.
Prepare and manage project budgets up to [$X million], optimizing resource allocation.
Conduct cost analysis and deliver financial reports to executives.
Serve as the primary point of contact for investors, clients, and government agencies.
Provide regular updates to the executive team on milestones, risks, and KPIs.
Implement green building practices and cutting-edge construction technologies.
Oversee quality control inspections to ensure adherence to design and safety standards.
Conduct debriefs to identify lessons learned and process improvements.
Technical & Industry-Specific Skills
Project Management Software Expertise: Advanced proficiency in tools like MS Project, Primavera, AutoCAD, and BIM (Building Information Modeling) for planning, scheduling, and design coordination.
Financial Acumen: Budgeting, cost analysis, ROI calculations, and financial modeling for projects exceeding $50M+.
Regulatory & Compliance Knowledge: In-depth understanding of zoning laws, building codes (e.g., IBC), permits, and sustainability standards (e.g., LEED, BREEAM, WELL).
Construction Process Mastery: Experience overseeing design, procurement, construction, and handover phases for mixed-use, residential, or commercial developments.
Risk Management: Proactive identification of project risks (delays, cost overruns) and mitigation strategies.
Contract & Vendor Management: Negotiation of contracts with architects, contractors, and suppliers; familiarity with FIDIC or AIA agreements.
Quality Control & Safety: Implementation of QA/QC protocols and OSHA-compliant safety standards.

Strategic Vision: Ability to align projects with company goals, market trends, and long-term growth strategies.
Cross-Functional Leadership: Proven track record of managing multidisciplinary teams (engineers, architects, contractors) and fostering collaboration.
