POSITION SUMMARY

The People Services Administrator provides administrative support to the Human Resources team by assisting with employee records, documentation, scheduling, and general office coordination. This role focuses on accuracy, organization, and consistency, helping ensure daily HR operations run smoothly.

The successful candidate will support routine administrative tasks, assist with recruitment and staffing activities, and help maintain organized systems and records. This position also supports short-term projects and provides backup coverage as needed.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Enter, update, and maintain employee information in HR and benefits systems

Process administrative transactions including new hires, employee changes, wage updates, and terminations

Maintain accurate and confidential employee files and documentation in accordance with retention guidelines

Respond to routine internal and external inquiries in a timely and professional manner

Support for printing and issuing employee identification badges and updating access privileges within security systems.

Schedule meetings and support coordination of interviews and departmental activities

Provide administrative support to recruitment activities including posting support, interview scheduling, and document preparation

Assist with employee recognition initiatives, retirement programs, and other HR projects

Order office supplies and maintain inventory as needed

Assist with short-term projects and daily operational tasks as required

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESFUL

Minimum 1 year of experience in an administrative role supporting an HR function.

Previous experience supporting Human Resources or payroll functions is strongly preferred

Demonstrated ability to manage confidential information with discretion

Strong organizational and time-management skills

High level of attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to manage competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Proficiency with Windows-based computer systems and Microsoft Office applications

Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment
