Who the Client Is

The client is a growing Australian digital marketing consultancy that helps business owners and managers improve return on investment across their sales and marketing efforts. They work across multiple digital and advertising channels and collaborate closely with client teams and a small group of in-house consultants. Their focus is on improving processes, strengthening team alignment, and delivering clearer reporting and strategy for clients.

Role Overview

We are looking for a Paid Ads Specialist to manage and optimise paid advertising campaigns across Google and Meta platforms. This role will work closely with a small team and gradually take ownership of multiple accounts, ensuring campaigns are properly set up, monitored, and continuously improved.

The ideal candidate is proactive, organised, takes pride in their work and comfortable working in a fast-paced digital marketing environment. Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently are important, as this role will be supporting across multiple client campaigns in a fully remote capacity.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and optimise Google Ads campaigns including Search and Performance Max
• Manage Meta Ads campaigns across Facebook and Instagram
• Set up, launch, and continuously optimise campaigns, targeting, budgets, and creatives
• Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and ad copy testing
• Monitor conversions and campaign performance to improve results over time
• Maintain organised campaign structures and documentation
• Provide clear reporting and actionable insights to the team
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders on overall marketing strategy
• Support content and creative testing aligned with campaign goals
• Track performance metrics such as cost per lead and campaign ROI

Requirements

Qualifications & Skills

• Previous experience managing Google Ads and/or Meta Ads campaigns
• Solid understanding of paid media strategy, optimisation, and performance tracking
• Experience with keyword research, A/B testing, and conversion tracking
• Familiarity with SEO fundamentals and tools such as SEMrush is a plus
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and improve campaign outcomes
• Good written and verbal English communication skills
• Proficiency in tools such as Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, and Microsoft or Google Workspace
• Can-do attitude and passion for digital marketing and continuous learning

Work Arrangement & Expectations

• Fully remote role working with an Australian time zone (AEST)
