Role Overview

The Accountant will be responsible for managing the client’s daily financial operations – from bookkeeping and reconciliations to preparing reports and supporting compliance. This role requires someone who is highly organized, meticulous with numbers, and proficient in modern accounting tools such as Xero, MYOB, Quickbooks Online, or similar accounting software

You’ll work closely with the client’s internal finance and leadership team to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant financial reporting, contributing to smooth operations and data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day bookkeeping, including recording financial transactions and maintaining ledgers.

Prepare and reconcile bank statements and ensure accurate account balances.

Process accounts payable and receivable and manage payroll when necessary.

Assist with monthly and quarterly financial reports and tax preparation.

Maintain financial records in Xero, MYOB, Quickbooks Online, or similar accounting software

Collaborate with the client on financial reviews and provide insights into cash flow and budgeting.

Ensure all financial data complies with local regulations and accounting standards.

Requirements

Qualifications & Skills

2-5+ years of experience as an Accountant or in a similar finance role.

Proven experience with Xero, MYOB, Quickbooks Online, or similar accounting software

Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and accuracy in data entry.

Excellent communication skills in English – both written and verbal.

Ability to analyze financial data, generate reports, and make informed recommendations.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred but not required).

Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently in a remote setup.

Remote, full-time role based in the Philippines.
