The Client are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Intermediate Accountant to join their dynamic Accounts pod team. This role is ideal for someone with solid accounting knowledge, a proactive mindset, and a passion for mentoring junior staff. You will play a key role in preparing financial statements using CaseWare, reviewing work prepared by junior team members, and contributing to process improvements through innovative thinking.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements and working papers using CaseWare.
• Apply strong technical accounting knowledge to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Review and provide constructive feedback on work prepared by junior staff.
• Supervise and support junior team members in their development.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to team efficiency.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate delivery of accounts.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting standards and best practices.

Skills and Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting or a similar role. Experience in UK GAAP & FRS102 is advantageous.
• Proficiency in CaseWare and other accounting software.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Ability to think critically and solve problems creatively.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
• Experience in supervising or mentoring junior staff.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Relevant accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CPA)

Work Schedule

Mid shift (3:00 PM to 11:30 PM PH time)
