Increase sales of meat and cheeses at the deli counter through customer engagement and interaction.
Interact with customers and management in a friendly, enthusiastic and outgoing manner to generate brand awareness to increase sales
Prepare and demonstrate new and or promoted products to store customers through sample arrangements and by demonstrating recipes using company products
Provide excellent customer service; assess the needs of the customer to best recommend products; use product slicer to fill orders and or provide samples to customers; complete order process for purchases.
Clean area and equipment as required by supermarket and local health code
Maintain store shelf standards and inventory through various merchandising strategies, including but not limited to rotation of products; ensure pricing matches current promotions and current marketing and promotional materials are displayed.
Notify management in case of an extraordinary issue, including but not limited to, quality failures and overstock
Maintain excellent working relationship with supermarket personnel and management
