Position: On-call barista
Job Description:
An on-call barista is essentially a flexible, as-needed, temporary staff of a regular barista. Instead of fixed schedules, an on-call barista is scheduled only when the store needs extra support, staff shortage, or for special events.
Responsibilities:
- Available to work on short notice
- Preparing and serving all items of the store’s menu
- Maintaining cleanliness of the bar, equipment, and dining area
- Taking customer orders and handling payments
- Providing friendly, professional, efficient customer service
- Inventory and restocking of ingredients and supplies
Expectations:
- Strong reliability
- Ability to commit to short notice schedules with minimal supervision
- Transparent, honest, consistent
- Will ensure correct breakdown of items and correct total daily sales to be endorsed to his/her supervisor
Qualifications:
- At least 18 years old (We accept students who would like to earn during the summer break)
- Willing to be assigned to Ayala Malls The 30th, Pasig City for a 10-hour shift
- Barista experience is a plus, but not required
- Must have at least 1 valid ID
- Willing to undergo one-day training and orientation
