Job Description

Job Summary**

The Associate Construction Specialist supports the successful execution of railway signaling and infrastructure projects by assisting with on-site activities, ensuring adherence to project plans, safety standards, and quality specifications.

Job Responsibilities**

• Assist in the planning, coordination, and supervision of various construction activities on railway projects.
• Support the Project Manager and Construction Manager in monitoring project progress against schedules and budgets.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and design specifications.
• Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, progress updates, and incident reports.
• Help in managing and tracking materials, equipment, and resources on site.
• Communicate effectively with site personnel, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Identify potential issues and proactively contribute to problem-solving efforts.
• Support the implementation of quality control procedures and participate in site audits.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.

Job Qualifications**

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 0-2 years of experience in construction, preferably within the railway or heavy infrastructure sector.
• Basic understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and equipment.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations relevant to construction sites.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Willingness to travel to various project sites as required.
