Job Description

Location: Geraldton Port

Roster: On-Call

Hourly Rate: $67.98 per hour + Superannuation

Type: Casual

We are looking for Front-End Loader Operators to join our Geraldton team on a casual basis. The role involves operating front-end wheel loaders to handle iron ore and other bulk commodities efficiently and safely.

This is a fast-paced production environment where maintaining high volume output is crucial. To succeed in this role, you’ll need previous experience in a similar environment and be comfortable working at a consistent, high production pace.

To be successful in this role you will need to have

Familiarity with shed maintenance, ore stockpile management, and remote site work.

Ability to perform under pressure and in varying environmental conditions.

Comfortable working at a consistent, high production pace

Knowledge of and commitment to complying with Australian Federal Laws and Western Australia state laws and regulations.

Good record-keeping, which is essential for compliance purposes.

Ability to carry out routine maintenance to mobile plant, and report faults.

Ability to follow strict workplace and safety procedures & have an ongoing commitment to safe work practices.

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with a variety of people.

Qualifications

Valid and current drivers licence

Verification of competency (VOC) for Front-End Wheel Loader (FEL).

Relevant VOC’s for other machinery operations.

Applicants must hold a current National Police Clearance or be willing to obtain one prior to commencement.
