The ideal candidate is a versatile fullstack developer passionate about MMORPGs with knowledge in animation systems and art integration pipelines in Unity. This role bridges technical development and creative asset implementation, ensuring smooth integration of character animations, visual effects, and artistic assets into the game engine while maintaining performance and stability.

About the Role

To communicate effectively with artists, understand their workflows, and translate creative vision into technical implementation.

Ability to quickly understand and modify an existing, complex codebase with limited documentation.

Capable of working independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high quality standards.

Fluent in English language.

Actively play or have extensively played MMORPGs, particularly medieval combat games.

Knowledge of rigging principles and how they affect animation implementation.

Experience with large-scale PvP systems (100+ concurrent players in combat) and their performance implications.

Previous experience with game relaunches or live service operations.

Experience setting up and maintaining art asset version control workflows (Git LFS, Perforce, Plastic SCM).

Requirements

Unity Engine proficiency with demonstrated experience in multiplayer/networked game projects.

.NET backend development (C#) with hands-on experience in professional projects.

Understanding of Mecanim, Animation Controllers, blend trees, inverse kinematics (IK), and animation event systems.

Proven ability to implement asset import workflows, configure import settings for optimal performance, and troubleshoot asset integration issues (textures, materials, models, animations).

Understanding of multiplayer server architecture, client-server communication, state synchronization, and how animation systems interact with networked gameplay

Familiar with networking middleware such as uLink, Photon, Mirror, or similar Unity networking solutions

MySQL database knowledge: Query optimization, schema design, and performance tuning for game databases.
