Geeks on Site has been delivering trusted, on-site IT and technical support to homes and businesses nationwide for over 20 years. Weâre expanding our network of skilled on-call technicians to meet growing demand for in-person support â including computers, networks, printers, and more.
Weâre hiring field IT technicians who can confidently support a wide range of tech needs for residential and small business customers.
This includes troubleshooting PCs and Macs, resolving network issues, and repairing or configuring printers/scanners â including issues like Canon MF printer network setup or G-series ink absorber error codes (e.g., 1700).
Youâll be dispatched to customer sites, work independently, and complete service calls efficiently and professionally.
Diagnose and repair hardware/software issues on Windows and macOS systems
Resolve boot errors, OS issues, and login problems
Set up or troubleshoot Wi-Fi and wired internet connections
Replace or upgrade hardware (HDD, RAM, cooling fans, etc.)
Configure or connect printers and scanners (Canon, HP, Brother, etc.)
Address common printer error codes (e.g., ink absorber, paper feed, connectivity)
Perform general maintenance on multifunction printers (MFPs)
Reinstall operating systems using bootable USBs or recovery media
Install remote tools or shortcuts as requested
Communicate clearly with customers and provide basic post-service support
Document service visits and escalate complex issues as needed
