The Platform team creates the technology that enables Spotify to learn quickly and scale easily, enabling rapid growth in our users and our business around the globe. Spanning many disciplines, we work to make the business work; creating the infrastructure, tooling, frameworks, and capabilities needed to welcome a billion customers.
You’ll join the Data Platform within the Platform mission, where we build the foundations that help Spotify teams better understand and serve our listeners. Our work enables engineers and data scientists to explore user behavior at scale and make smarter, faster decisions.
As part of a collaborative and distributed engineering team, you’ll help shape the tools and SDKs that power data-driven product development across Spotify.
Build and evolve Android SDKs that enable engineers and data scientists to analyze user behavior at scale
Contribute to a high-performing, autonomous team of engineers, designers, and product managers
Develop scalable, testable, and maintainable code used across multiple teams and projects
Help define and improve Android engineering practices across Spotify
Collaborate closely with platform and data teams to deliver impactful solutions
Drive innovation and continuously improve developer productivity and experience
Support the broader Android community at Spotify and influence technical direction
This role is based in London
