Role Overview

Our client is hiring Seasonal Tax Support Professionals to assist during peak and high-volume tax seasons. This is a contract-based role, with workload dependent on seasonal demand.

The primary focus of this role is U.S. tax preparation. Depending on experience, skills, and business needs, team members may also support light tax-related data entry and administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare individual and/or business tax returns in compliance with U.S. tax laws and regulations
  • Review financial records and supporting tax documents for accuracy and completeness
  • Perform light tax-related data entry and administrative support tasks
  • Enter, review, and verify tax data accurately in internal systems
  • Ensure compliance with IRS guidelines and internal quality standards
  • Meet deadlines during high-volume tax periods
  • Communicate clearly with internal teams regarding task status and documentation needs

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of U.S. tax preparation experience
  • Must hold relevant U.S. tax accreditation(s)
  • Strong understanding of U.S. tax regulations and filing processes
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to handle extended working hours during peak tax season
  • Reliable internet connection and a professional home office setup
