Our client, a growing company in the food distribution industry, is looking for an Accounting Manager to support and lead core finance functions in a fast-paced and expanding business environment.

This role is ideal for a hands-on finance professional who enjoys managing financial operations, overseeing disbursements, and ensuring strong control over company funds while working closely with key stakeholders.

Location: Makati

Work Setup: Onsite

Job Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day finance and accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, and financial reporting.

Manage and monitor disbursements, cash flow, and company expenditures to ensure proper utilization of funds.

Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, and ensure timely month-end closing.

Develop and implement budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.

Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal financial policies.

Strengthen internal controls, particularly in payables and fund management.

Coordinate with auditors, banks, and other external stakeholders.

Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business decisions.

Job Qualifications

Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

Minimum of 5 years of relevant finance or accounting experience.

Strong experience in accounts payable, disbursements, and cash/fund management.

Proven background in budgeting and financial planning.

Hands-on, detail-oriented, and highly trustworthy in handling company funds.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
