Job Description

Responsibilities

Responsible for the day to day operations of pre-production Cloud Application (Ensuring system availability, performance, capacity, and monitoring through proper response to incidents, events and problems)

Develop procedures to automate various systems and tasks (e.g. automating code builds and deployments)

Execute system administration of hosting platforms capable of running on a variety of frameworks

Promotion of new DevOps tools to simplify build process

Employ innovative solutions to ease developer and testing experience.

Engineer automation and deployment tools for every part of our platforms

Engage cool vendors to identify and test products and technologies to help drive innovation into our infrastructure.

Be an infrastructure engineer and in true agile style -- scrum your way to deliver solutions in well-defined sprints with clear success criteria

This can include provision of cloud instances, turning on vps servers, streamlining deployments, configuring virtual instances, scaling out db servers.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or any related course

At least 3 years of experience working as DevOps

Can develop scripts to automate our procedures and monitor our servers

Knowledgeable in Ruby, Rails, AWS stack, Big Data or HDP, Chef, bash scripting is a HUGE PLUS

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to communicate technical issues to nontechnical and technical audiences.

Self-motivated learner and builder with strong customer focus and obsession with quality

Open for Permanent / Fulltime role

Willing to work in Ortigas on a regular day shift schedule
