Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Software Development

Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software applications using Ruby on Rails.

Implement and manage scalable and efficient API infrastructures.

Database Management

Develop, optimize, and maintain database systems using PostgreSQL (PSQL).

Ensure data integrity, security, and performance across our database environments.

Cloud Services

Utilize AWS services (such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda) to build and maintain cloud-based applications.

Optimize cloud infrastructure for cost efficiency and performance.

Microservices Development

Design and develop microservices to ensure a modular and decoupled system architecture.

Ensure services are robust, maintainable, and scalable.

Additional Skills (Plus)

Knowledge of DNS systems and domain management is a plus, enhancing our ability to deliver comprehensive solutions.

Collaboration and Leadership

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

5+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on database systems, cloud services, and web frameworks.

Expertise in PostgreSQL (PSQL) and AWS services.

Proficiency in Ruby on Rails and experience in building and managing APIs and microservices.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
