About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the workshop, providing support to technicians, and maintaining high standards of customer service. You will also work closely with service advisors and focus on improving workshop efficiency and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor technicians and apprentices
• Manage workshop operations, including scheduling and allocating tasks
• Maintain accurate records of work orders, invoices, and job progress
• Ensure top-quality customer service and satisfaction
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance workshop performance
• Communicate with service advisors to keep customers updated
• Ensure compliance with warranty guidelines and company standards

About You

Qualified mechanic with experience in team leadership

Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Dedicated to promoting a safe work environment

Experience with European, American, or Japanese truck brands is a plus, but not essential
