About the Role

As a Compliance and Legal Operations Analyst you will focus on regulatory compliance and internal risk tolerance before service delivery begins. This is a critical, cross-functional role requiring close collaboration with Sales, Legal, and Finance teams to mitigate risk while ensuring a smooth transition from prospect to active customer.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Due Diligence (CDD): Execute robust Know Your Customer (KYC) and Know Your Business (KYB) procedures, verifying corporate structures and ultimate beneficial ownership (UBO) for global entities.

Risk Profiling: Assign and manage risk ratings for new customers based on geographic footprint, industry sectors, and political exposure (PEP/Sanctions screening).

Regulatory Alignment: Ensure all onboarding workflows adhere to international Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter-Terrorist Financing (CTF) standards across diverse jurisdictions.

Integrity Screening: Conduct adverse media and reputational risk searches to protect Expereo’s brand and operational integrity.

Sales Partnership: Act as a primary point of contact for Sales and Account Management, providing clear guidance on required documentation and resolving onboarding bottlenecks.

System Optimization: Support the enhancement of our digital platform, expereoOne, by identifying opportunities to automate risk checks and improve the customer experience.

Data Governance: Ensure the accuracy and security of customer risk data in compliance with GDPR and local privacy laws.

Requirements

Experience: 4–6 years in risk analysis, customer onboarding, or compliance—ideally within the telecommunications, Tech, System Integrator or Fintech sectors.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Law, or a related field.

Analytical Mindset: Strong ability to interpret complex legal documents and corporate filings to identify potential red flags.

Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to communicate compliance requirements to customers and internal stakeholders clearly and professionally.

Tools: Proficiency with global risk screening databases (Dun & Bradstreet) and CRM platforms (Salesforce).
