Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI)—formerly known as Fusion Analytics Warehouse (FAW)—Subject Matter Expert (SME) acts as the bridge between raw ERP data and actionable enterprise insights.

Gap Analysis: Identify where Oracle FDI’s out-of-the-box (OOTB) metrics differ from your legacy EDW definitions.

Mapping & Architecture: Lead the Source-to-Target Mapping (STTM) efforts between Oracle FDI (formerly FAW) and the Enterprise Data Warehouse for Financials (GL, AP, AR) and SCM (Inventory, Procurement, Order Management).

Object Expertise: Provide deep-dive technical details on Oracle Business Intelligence Cloud Connector (BICC) View Objects (VOs) and underlying Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW) tables.

Module Expertise: Deep-dive into SCM (Inventory, Procurement, Order Management) and Financials (AP, AR, GL, Fixed Assets) to ensure data integrity during the hop.

Object Identification: Provide detailed technical specifications for underlying View Objects (VOs) and tables within the FDI schema.

Object Guidance: Provide the downstream team with specific metadata, including table names, join keys, and grain definitions (e.g., explaining the difference between a header-level and line-level SCM transaction).

Cross-Module Integration: Align SCM entities (like Procurement, Inventory, or Order Management) with Financial entities (General Ledger, Payables, Receivables) to ensure a "single version of truth."

Transformation Logic: Define the logic required to normalize Oracle’s complex Flexfields (DFFs/KFFs) into your EDW’s flattened structures.

Must-Have Skills

Experience: 6+ years of experience with Oracle ERP Cloud (Financials & SCM) and at least 2 years specifically focused on Oracle FDI/FAW.

Technical Mastery: Profound understanding of the FDI Semantic Model and Data Augmentation.

Advanced SQL skills and experience with Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW).

Domain Knowledge: Functional understanding of accounting flows (Sub-ledger to GL) and supply chain lifecycles (Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash).
