Direct Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a Procurement Specialist to support pricing management, supplier management, cost analysis, and reporting functions. This position plays a key role in ensuring pricing accuracy, maintaining supplier competitiveness, and supporting overall operational efficiency within the organization.

Pricing & Cost Management

Maintain and update monthly pricing database and standard cost information.

Review and verify supplier quotations, invoices, and price adjustments to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Perform pricing checks to identify discrepancies between purchase orders and supplier invoices.

Support cost reduction initiatives and participate in supplier price negotiations.

Monitor engineering or specification changes and ensure correct cost updates.

Supplier & Sourcing Management

Source reliable and cost-effective suppliers for direct materials and indirect purchases.

Manage daily purchasing activities, including issuing purchase orders and coordinating delivery schedules.

Work closely with Engineering and internal stakeholders to align material specifications and requirements.

Build and maintain good working relationships with suppliers

Analysis & Reporting

Conduct cost analysis and track savings initiatives.

Monitor cost performance and identify improvement opportunities.

Prepare monthly and quarterly procurement and cost reports.

Assist in consolidating data and preparing presentations for management review.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree with minimum 5 years' experience.

Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.

Comfortable working with numbers and data.

Proficient in Excel (data analysis skills are an advantage).

Good communication skills and willingness to learn.

Experience working in the semiconductor industry is an added advantage.
