Your Role

As an SEO Specialist, you will independently manage client accounts from initial research through campaign execution and ongoing reporting.

You will

Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and technical SEO audits to develop data-driven strategies
Optimize website content, meta tags, and internal linking structures, including schema implementation
Identify and resolve technical SEO issues in collaboration with development teams
Develop content calendars and briefs, and create or guide SEO-optimized content
Execute ethical link-building strategies and manage local SEO (including Google Business Profile and citations)
Manage multiple SEO campaigns simultaneously while maintaining timelines and identifying growth opportunities
Track and report performance using GA4 and Google Search Console, translating insights into actionable recommendations
Act as the main point of contact for SEO-related client communication, including strategy reviews and performance updates

What You Need

Non-negotiables

• 3+ years of proven SEO experience with measurable results or case studies
• Strong proficiency in tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, Screaming Frog, or similar
• Solid experience with Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, and Google Tag Manager
• Experience with WordPress SEO tools (Yoast, RankMath, SEOPress)
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript
• Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex SEO concepts for clients
• Proven ability to manage multiple client accounts independently in an agency environment

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Australian local SEO and familiarity with the AU market
• Google Analytics and/or Google Ads certifications
• Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail and problem-solving skills
