About the role

We are seeking an experienced iOS Developer to design, develop, and maintain Rakuten Trade's mobile applications.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain iOS applications using Swift and Objective-C.

Develop and support React / React Native components where applicable.

Ensure applications meet performance, stability, and security requirements.

Integrate mobile applications with backend systems via RESTful APIs.

Collaborate with backend, QA, UX/UI, and product teams.

Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards.

Support App Store releases and post-production issues.

Apply secure coding best practices.

Requirements

Must-have

3–5 years of professional iOS development experience.

Strong proficiency in Swift and Objective-C.

Experience with React / React Native.

Experience integrating RESTful APIs.

Familiarity with Git and mobile app lifecycle.

App Store deployment experience.

Nice-to-have

Understanding of iOS frameworks (UIKit, Foundation, Core Data).

Awareness of mobile security best practices.

Experience in fintech or regulated environments.

CI/CD pipelines for mobile apps.

Testing frameworks (XCTest, Jest).

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
