The Opportunity

As an Assistant Store Manager at Starbucks, you’ll play a key leadership role in bringing the Starbucks Experience to life. Working closely with the Store Manager, you’ll help lead store operations, develop a high‑performing team, and create a welcoming third place for customers and communities.

This is a hands‑on leadership opportunity where you’ll grow your business acumen, coaching capability, and operational expertise while being supported to take the next step in your leadership career.

Job Description

To be a Starbucks Assistant Store Manager

We’d love to hear from people who have

A minimum of two years’ progressively responsible experience, including at least one year in a customer‑facing role

Strong organisational, interpersonal, and problem‑solving skills

The ability to lead effectively in a fast‑paced environment

Previous experience in store leadership roles, ideally within the hospitality or quick service restaurant sector

Experience supporting store operations and contributing to financial performance

Exposure to rostering, budgets, and profit & loss (P&L) reports

A proven ability to develop teams and foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging work environment
