Market Researcher - Clean Energy Technology

The successful candidate will be keen to work as part of a team, to collect, enter and analyze data relating to renewable power plants and clean energy assets around the world. They will utilize excellent research and analytical skills, and develop knowledge of the cleantech and renewable energy industry. They will support our global team by producing high quality data used to support the critical business decisions of our customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect data on a wide range of clean technology and renewable energy markets
• Update, maintain and manage a critical global database that is used extensively by colleagues and customers
• Work with both a local and global team to align data
• Respond to feedback on the dataset, to make improvements and help answer client questions

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in the renewable energy sector. Prior experience of working in a data or analyst role, as well as both English and Chinese (mandarin) language skills are required

A relevant university degree (Bachelors or equivalent), preferably in a science, engineering, economics, or other quantitative field

A strong interest in the energy sector. An analytical thinker who enjoys making an impact towards the energy transition.

Prior experience with market analysis related to different clean energy technologies is a preferred, but not essential. Experience with databases is highly preferred.

Proficiency in MS Office applications especially MS Excel. Able to work on and enhance large and complex excel spreadsheets and databases.

Excellent English and Mandarin

Organizational skills including the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
