We are looking for a driven and strategic Business Development Manager to accelerate our growth globally. You will play a key role in identifying new opportunities, building strong relationships with industry stakeholders, and driving the end-to-end sales process for CoverGo’s platform within the insurance ecosystem.
Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities across the insurance space
Conduct thorough research on target clients to understand their business models, challenges, and opportunities
Engage with senior stakeholders across prospective organizations (including insurers, consulting firms, and system integrators) to build strong, long-term relationships
Lead discovery conversations to uncover client needs and position tailored solutions that demonstrate the value of the CoverGo platform
Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and initial outreach to deal closure and handover for successful implementation
Utilize sales tools (e.g., CRM platforms, data intelligence tools, and social selling channels) to build and maintain a high-quality pipeline
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including regional leadership, to ensure alignment on strategy and execution
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility and generate leads
3+ years of experience in B2B SaaS or technology sales, preferably within insurance or insurtech
Strong understanding of insurance processes and supporting technologies (e.g., SaaS platforms, IT systems)
Excellent communication and presentation skills in English, both written and spoken
Fluency in Cantonese is required
Fluency in Mandarin is a strong advantage
Proven ability to manage complex sales cycles and consistently meet or exceed targets
Experience using CRM systems (such as Salesforce or HubSpot) and sales intelligence tools (e.g., LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo)
An existing network within the insurance industry—particularly in health insurance, managed care, or employee benefits—is a strong advantage
Must be based in Hong Kong
