Job Description

Position Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and creative B2B Marketing Associate to support the delivery of our marketing strategy across multiple channels. This role blends hands-on event management with digital marketing expertise, including social media, email campaigns, and content creation, to help increase engagement, generate leads, and strengthen our brand presence.

An interest in global affairs, international relations, or geopolitics is highly desirable, as you’ll help translate complex insights from our analysts into engaging, accessible content that resonates with senior business audiences.

This is a full-time remote role in the UK, requiring occasional travel to the office for training, events, or administrative purposes.

Essential Functions / Responsibilities

Email Marketing

Build, test, and send marketing emails using platforms such as Mailchimp or HubSpot.

Manage contact lists, segmentation, and automated journeys to improve email performance.

Support the optimisation of subject lines, content, and calls-to-action through A/B testing.

Track performance metrics and provide insights to refine strategy.

Coordinate cross-functionally to ensure alignment with content guidelines and calendar.

Content Marketing

Draft and edit marketing copy, including blogs, newsletters, event pages, and social media.

Work with subject-matter experts to turn insights into compelling narratives and campaigns.

Ensure all materials are aligned with brand voice and visual identity.

Social Media Marketing

Develop and schedule content across corporate social media channels.

Support campaign planning and contribute creative ideas to boost reach and engagement.

Monitor analytics and prepare regular reports on channel performance.

Maintain consistent tone, visual style, and brand alignment across all platforms.

Events Management

Plan, coordinate, and deliver in-person and virtual own-brand and partner events (e.g. webinars, conferences)

Manage end-to-end logistics: venue booking, supplier liaison, guest registration, speaker coordination, and post-event reporting.

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment of event themes and messaging with broader marketing objectives.

Create promotional materials and event landing pages to drive attendance and engagement.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.

Excellent written and verbal communication.

Strong cross-functional team player.

Proficiency with marketing tools such as Mailchimp, Canva, HubSpot, or equivalent.

Familiarity with social media scheduling and analytics tools (e.g. Hootsuite, LinkedIn Analytics).

Basic design and video editing skills (e.g. Canva).

A proactive, hands-on approach and keen eye for detail.

Must have eligible and current right to work in the UK

Qualifications

2 - 4 years’ experience in a marketing or communications role with exposure to events and digital marketing.

Genuine curiosity about global affairs, international business, and geopolitics.
