Job Description

Position Summary

We are looking for a GSOC Analyst to join our diverse embedded Global Security Operations Centre (GSOC) team for a professional services client.

This role will focus on monitoring, information gathering, and reporting on any events and security incidents that may impact the client's employees, assets, events, operations, reputation, and information. You will monitor, gather and assess threats globally, while producing high-quality security alerts, and regular scheduled and ad-hoc topical reporting to an extremely high standard on a timely basis.

This role would require you to work 12-hour shifts across day shifts (0700-1900) and night shifts (1900-0700), across the week and including weekends, on a flexible rotation schedule to cover capacity gaps as required. Day shifts are office-based, while night and weekend shifts are remote.

This is a fixed-term position, running through to the end of June 2027.

Essential Functions / Responsibilities

Horizon scan/monitor and act as a central point for initial triage, assessment, and reporting.

Communicate, escalate, and coordinate incidents with relevant stakeholders and account for staff as per established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Monitor client’s Business Travellers and assets/offices using global tracking tools provided by client and third-party.

Establish, maintain, and adhere to GSOC SOPs.

Safety check-ins with business travellers in high/extreme/remote locations.

Work in close collaboration and coordination with the whole embed team to ensure the production of regular and ad-hoc global, regional, local, and thematic reports.

Work with security group members and others on the ground in the event of an alert.

Produce key metrics, threat assessments, and risk forecasting of geopolitical, political, security, health, climate/weather, economic, regulatory, and operational risks.

Any other reasonable tasks requested by Client or any other Client Entity.

Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Experience, knowledge, and interest in current affairs, international relations, and emerging security threats.

Excellent written and spoken communication skills with close attention to detail.

Experience in utilising open-source intelligence (OSINT) and social media intelligence (SOCMINT) platforms, tools, and methodologies.

Ability to absorb and analyse large amounts of data to summarise events accurately and concisely.

Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Ability to prioritise and manage multiple scheduled tasks, requests, and sources of information in an organised way.

Experience with MS Office, Google Workspace, or similar products, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Ability to give and receive feedback.

Qualifications

Experience working in a corporate security setting or similar public or private sector environment, required.

Fluent English required, and an additional second language preferred.

Undergraduate or Postgraduate qualifications in International Security, Intelligence, Risk, Geopolitics or other related disciplines, or equivalent professional experience, preferred.

Formal qualifications in Business Continuity, Crisis Management, Security Risk Management or other related fields, preferred.
