The AI Delivery Lead (Build-to-Run) is accountable for driving the sustainable, stable, and scalable delivery of AI solutions within the innovation/build organization until they are fully production-ready and can be handed over to the run organization. This is a leadership position with own team responsibility, sitting at the critical intersection of AI innovation and operational excellence.

Build-to-run transition management: Define, manage, and enforce the transition process, including clear handover criteria and run-readiness gates (setting the basis for continued Dev/Ops)
Solution stabilization: Ensure solutions reach the required level of robustness, reliability, maintainability, and operational stability before transfer
Operational Readiness & Quality
Operational readiness: Drive the implementation of monitoring, testing, documentation, support processes, and other prerequisites for productive operation
Quality assurance: Ensure delivered AI solutions meet defined standards for performance, scalability, security, and compliance
Hypercare leadership: Lead the early-life support phase after deployment and ensure controlled stabilization before handover
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Enablement
Cross-functional orchestration: Coordinate business, product, data science, engineering, and run stakeholders to ensure smooth and aligned delivery
Run enablement: Prepare the run organization through documentation, training, knowledge transfer, and early involvement during the build phase with clear involvement and commitment of the run organization
Risk, Governance & Continuous Improvement
Risk & issue management: Identify delivery risks, technical weaknesses, and operational gaps early and resolve them proactively
Continuous improvement: Capture lessons learned from delivery and handover processes and translate them into better standards, methods, and templates
Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Informatics, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence or a related technical/digital field
Commitment to ongoing education through workshops, conferences, and courses to stay updated with the latest AI advancements
Extensive 10+ years of experience in roles related to AI/digital solution delivery, software engineering, or technology program management in a complex organizational environment
AI solution delivery experience: Proven track record in delivering AI, data, or automation/digital solutions from development into stable production environments
Transformation experience: Experience in building or operating within AI, digital, or product-centric transformation environments is a strong advantage
Technical depth: Solid understanding of AI solution architecture, software engineering, data pipelines, testing, deployment, and productive support requirements
Build-to-run expertise: Strong understanding of what is required to transition solutions from innovation-driven development into reliable operations
Operational mindset: Ability to think beyond prototyping and focus on stability, maintainability, scalability, and long-term supportability
Delivery management: Strong skills in planning, structuring, prioritizing, and driving execution in dynamic and fast-moving delivery settings
Quality orientation: Strong focus on ensuring delivery quality, risk control, and adherence to operational and governance standards
Problem-solving capability: Ability to identify root causes, resolve delivery bottlenecks, and make pragmatic decisions under pressure
Stakeholder management: Ability to align cross-functional stakeholders across business, product, engineering, and operations in complex environments
Communication & leadership skills: Clear and structured communication skills to manage expectations, escalate issues, and ensure alignment across teams; experience in leading technical team (esp. in dev/ops)
