Job Description

Job Title: Mechanical Inspector – Balance of Plant

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE

Project Type: Large-Scale Thermal Power Plant Project

Mobilization: June 2026

Employment Type: Full-time / Project-Based

The Mechanical Inspector will be responsible for inspecting BoP-related mechanical works and ensuring that all installations are completed in accordance with approved drawings, procedures, and project quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect installation works related to BoP systems
• Verify compliance with project specifications, approved drawings, and method statements
• Witness site inspections and testing activities
• Identify and report non-conformities and technical deviations
• Support mechanical supervision and contractor coordination
• Maintain clear inspection records and daily field reporting
• Ensure compliance with HSE and QA/QC requirements

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience
• Strong exposure to thermal power plant or industrial BoP systems
• Familiarity with field inspection and QA/QC documentation

Preferred Profile

• Experience on utility or energy projects
• Good knowledge of pumps, valves, auxiliaries, and plant support systems
