Job Description

Job Title: Mechanical Inspector – Piping

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE

Project Type: Large-Scale Thermal Power Plant Project

Mobilization: June 2026

Employment Type: Full-time / Project-Based

The Mechanical Inspector will inspect piping installation activities, monitor quality compliance, and ensure that piping works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect piping fabrication, installation, routing, supports, and associated activities
• Verify compliance with isometrics, drawings, procedures, and specifications
• Witness inspections, pressure tests, and related checks
• Report quality issues, deviations, and non-conformities
• Coordinate with site engineers, welding teams, and contractor representatives
• Support maintenance of inspection records and test reports
• Ensure compliance with HSE and QA/QC requirements

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience
• Strong piping inspection experience in thermal power plant or industrial environments
• Good understanding of piping codes, drawings, and field installation practices

Preferred Profile

• GCC project experience
• Familiarity with high-pressure and utility piping systems
