OKTOBER is hiring People & Culture Lead to join us. We're one of the fastest growing Shopify Retention Agencies in the space and both clients and brands love us.
Own the full hiring pipeline — reviewing applications daily, running screening calls, and keeping things moving fast
Fill the pipeline yourself — sourcing via LinkedIn (manual and automated), outbound outreach via Lemlist, job ads, AI sourcing tools
Handle pre-onboarding and new starter check-ins so every hire lands well from day one
Build and run our performance review process (quarterly and annual) with leadership
Write and own job descriptions, working closely with department heads and the team to get them right
Shape culture and L&D — from bi-annual meetups planning and hosting to the programmes that help our team grow and stay connected
What we're looking for (non-negotiable)
You've run hiring and people ops in a fast-moving agency or startup before
You move fast — candidates don't sit in your ATS for weeks
You're tool-fluent: Ashby, Lemlist, and building outreach lists from scratch
You take full ownership — you don't wait to be told what needs doing next
