We are looking for an experienced performance marketer who can own both paid acquisition and retention marketing end-to-end. This is a rare dual-skill role built for someone who is technically fluent across paid media platforms and CRM systems, works with urgency and precision, and thrives in a build-it-from-scratch environment.
Own paid media buying across Meta, Google, TikTok, and emerging channels — campaign setup, audience targeting, budget pacing, and optimization
Manage Meta campaigns, including prospecting and retargeting across Facebook and Instagram; configure campaigns, ad sets, and ads with precision
Manage Google Ads across brand and non-brand search, shopping campaigns, and performance max — including feed health, bidding strategy, and negative keyword management
Manage TikTok paid social campaigns; TikTok Shop is out of scope
Flight creative assets across all paid channels on schedule; partner with the creative team on performance feedback and iteration
Monitor performance daily, flag anomalies, and optimize toward agreed-upon KPIs (ROAS, CPA, CPM, CTR, conversion rate)
Use AI tools to accelerate testing, reporting, and optimization workflows
Maintain clean campaign structure and naming conventions; keep accounts organized and audit-ready
Own the full Klaviyo program including flows, campaigns, audience segmentation, and event tracking
Build and maintain core flows: welcome series, abandoned cart, post-purchase, win-back, and browse abandonment
Manage the weekly and monthly campaign calendar — coordinate with the creative team on assets, schedule, and launch on time without exception
Monitor and maintain deliverability health: list hygiene, suppression management, sender reputation, bounce handling, and spam compliance
Design and execute A/B tests on subject lines, send times, content blocks, and CTAs; document results and iterate
Manage CRM technical infrastructure: event definitions, custom properties, integration health between Shopify and Klaviyo
Report on retention KPIs: open rate, click rate, revenue per recipient, list growth, unsubscribe rate, and flow performance
5+ years in performance marketing and/or CRM, with hands-on ownership of paid platforms and/or Klaviyo at a DTC brand
Expert-level working knowledge of Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, TikTok Ads, and Klaviyo — you can navigate each platform without hand-holding
Technically capable: you understand pixels, conversion events, UTM structures, feed specs, list segmentation, and API integrations
Operates with urgency — deadlines are not suggestions, and campaign launches happen on time
Detail-oriented and diligent: you catch errors before they ship, you QA your own work, and you maintain tidy account structure
Entrepreneurial mindset — comfortable building programs that don't yet exist, with limited process documentation to lean on
AI-native: you actively use AI tools to move faster, test more, and work smarter
Experience working in Shopify-native DTC environments
Experience managing paid media and retention simultaneously at a single brand
This is a startup environment. Programs are new or in early stages. You will be setting up infrastructure as much as optimizing it. The team is small and collaborative, and your work will have direct visibility. The ideal candidate will see this as a career-making opportunity.
