Sales Engineer

Analyze existing and new business market opportunities including extensive marketing research and business development.

Establish sales strategies in search of business opportunities and enhancement in assigned territory.

Execute given marketing and sales direction to achieve sales objectives.

Gather and feedbacks market and competitors information to Sales Manager and Business Development team.

Sources for new customers to expand market base.

Lead the RFQ team and prepare quotations for customers.

Prepare and deliver technical presentations explaining products and services to customers

Attends to product complaints and suggestions from customers.

Continuous enhancing product / application / solution knowledge.

Establish potential new clients, determine their Engineering Solution needs & convert these opportunities into sales.

Maintain strong relationship with existing key accounts to ensure continuing contracts / services

Achieve given sales target and goals as well as preparing and presenting reports and proposals, sales forecast and budget.

Requirements

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent.

Proven sales track record and a strategic thinker with the ability to penetrate new markets and develop new accounts.

Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to create engineering solutions for customers.

Should be confident, independent, outgoing, self-driven, proactive, creative and willing to travel.

Communicates in a targeted manner and takes the audience into account..

Handles information appropriately and passes information in a timely manner to all concerned parties.

Good presentation skills and team player.
